Ingredients
Scale
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
1/4 cup olive oil
4 ounces goat cheese, softened
1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Let them cool slightly.
Spread a thin layer of softened goat cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.
Top the goat cheese with a dollop of cranberry sauce.
Garnish with fresh rosemary, if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a smoother goat cheese spread, you can whip it with a tablespoon of milk or cream.
If you don’t have whole berry cranberry sauce, jellied cranberry sauce can be used, but it might be sweeter.
Feel free to add a drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
