This classic 7-Layer Dip is a no-cook, crowd-pleasing appetizer. Layers of refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and other toppings create a colorful, easy-to-assemble dip. It is a guaranteed hit at any tailgate or gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) packet taco seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups guacamole
  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the refried beans and taco seasoning. Mix well.
  2. Spread the seasoned refried beans evenly on the bottom of a large serving dish or platter.
  3. Carefully spread the guacamole over the refried bean layer.
  4. Next, spread the sour cream over the guacamole.
  5. Evenly spread the salsa over the sour cream layer.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
  7. Top with chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives, and sliced green onions.
  8. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Prepare the guacamole just before assembling to prevent browning.
