Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Blue cheese dressing, for serving
  • Celery sticks, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.
  3. In a bowl, toss the wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You might need to cook them in batches.
  5. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the wings cook, whisk together the melted butter, hot sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using) in a bowl.
  7. Once the wings are done, transfer them to the bowl with the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve immediately with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can toss them with a tablespoon of cornstarch before seasoning.
  • Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your spice preference.
  • You can also brush the wings with the sauce during the last few minutes of cooking for a more caramelized coating.
