Ingredients
Scale
1 (10 count) can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces. You will have about 40 small dough pieces.
Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Set aside.
Brush the melted butter lightly over the outside of each dough piece. You can toss them gently in the butter if preferred.
Place the buttered dough pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Do not overcrowd the basket.
Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bites are golden brown and puffed.
Immediately transfer the hot churro bites to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Toss gently until fully coated.
Serve the churro bites warm.
Notes
For extra crispiness, spray the dough lightly with cooking spray before tossing in the sugar mixture.
If you prefer a softer coating, mix 1/4 cup powdered sugar with 1 teaspoon of milk and drizzle over the warm bites after coating them in cinnamon sugar.
Check the bites at 5 minutes; air fryer models vary in cooking speed.
