Cook tender, juicy lobster tails in your air fryer using a rich garlic butter coating. This recipe provides fast, restaurant-quality seafood at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (5-6 oz) lobster tails, thawed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lobster tails by cutting down the top shell lengthwise using kitchen shears, stopping before the tail fan. Gently pull the meat up and rest it on top of the shell.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the garlic butter mixture.
  3. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  5. Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the size of the tails, until the meat is opaque and firm.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure your lobster tails are fully thawed before cooking.
  • If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, increase the minced garlic to 3 cloves.
  • Do not overcook the lobster; check for doneness at the 5-minute mark to keep the meat juicy.
