Ingredients

  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, and Dijon mustard. Mix well.
  2. Stir in the crumbled bacon.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Top the bread with the cheddar cheese, then the tuna mixture.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of black pepper to the tuna mixture.
