Make tender, flavorful chicken thighs coated in a rich, sweet, and tangy balsamic glaze. This recipe brings a delightful taste to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Add the minced garlic and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce thickens slightly into a glaze.
  6. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet. Spoon the balsamic glaze over the chicken, turning to coat completely.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use chicken breasts, but cooking time will vary.
  • For an extra deep flavor, use aged balsamic vinegar if you have it.
  • This glaze works well on pork chops too.
