This classic Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe is a crowd-pleaser. It’s creamy, cheesy, and spicy, perfect for any gathering, especially game days. You can make it easily in a Crockpot.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, Buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and the crumbled blue cheese (if using) into the mixture.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 1.5-quart slow cooker.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  6. Stir before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
  8. Serve hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Adjust the amount of Buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
  • For a thicker dip, reduce the amount of ranch dressing slightly.
  • This dip can also be baked in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 20-25 minutes.
