Ingredients
Scale
1 (12 count) package slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls work well)
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1/2 cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s is a good choice)
1/4 cup ranch dressing (plus extra for drizzling)
1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and 1/4 cup of ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
Slice the slider rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected in one piece. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish or onto the sheet pan.
Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken layer. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the slider rolls.
Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
Remove from the oven. Drizzle the remaining ranch dressing over the top of the warm sliders before slicing and serving immediately.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, you can mix in 1/4 cup of cream cheese with the chicken mixture before topping with shredded cheese.
If you prefer blue cheese flavor, substitute the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing in both the chicken mix and the drizzle.
Use rotisserie chicken to make the preparation time even faster for this quick weeknight dinner option.
