Scale
3 lbs red and green seedless grapes
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Instructions
Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until the dressing is completely smooth and well combined.
Gently fold the dry grapes into the cream cheese mixture until they are evenly coated.
Transfer the salad to a serving dish.
In a small bowl, mix the chopped pecans and brown sugar together.
Sprinkle the pecan and brown sugar mixture evenly over the top of the salad.
Cover the salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
For the best texture, ensure the grapes are completely dry before mixing them into the dressing.
You can substitute walnuts for pecans in the topping if desired.
Make this salad up to 24 hours ahead; add the topping just before serving for maximum crunch.
