1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Spoon dollops of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and sweetness.
You can add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the batter for extra flavor.
