Create a beautiful and simple Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark. This treat perfectly contrasts sweet chocolate with fresh berries, making it ideal for a romantic gesture or a festive gathering. You will love how easy it is to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. If using coconut oil, stir it in now.
  3. Pour the melted semi-sweet chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Gently press the sliced strawberries onto the melted chocolate layer.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips until smooth. Drizzle the white chocolate over the strawberries in a decorative pattern.
  6. Use a knife or toothpick to lightly swirl the white chocolate into the semi-sweet chocolate for an extra design effect.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the bark is completely firm.
  8. Once set, break the bark into irregular pieces.
  9. Store the bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor results.
  • Pat the sliced strawberries very dry with a paper towel before placing them on the chocolate to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
  • You can substitute milk or dark chocolate for the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
