Make a quick, creamy, and sweet cinnamon honey butter spread at home that tastes just like the restaurant version. This recipe takes only minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the softened butter into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  3. Using an electric mixer, beat the ingredients on medium speed until the mixture is light, fluffy, and fully combined, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed during mixing.
  5. Transfer the finished cinnamon butter to an airtight container.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for a firmer texture, or serve immediately for a softer spread.

Notes

  • For a slightly different flavor, substitute the honey with 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar.
  • If your butter is too cold, microwave it for 5 to 10 seconds to soften slightly before mixing.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
