Ingredients
Scale
1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped celery
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
2 large whole wheat tortillas
1/4 cup shredded lettuce
1/4 cup chopped tomato
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, chopped onion, and lemon juice.
Season with salt and pepper to your preference. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface.
Divide the tuna salad mixture evenly between the two tortillas, spreading it down the center of each.
Top the tuna salad with shredded lettuce and chopped tomato.
Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then tightly roll them up from the bottom to create your wraps.
Serve immediately or wrap them in parchment paper for a portable meal.
Notes
You can add other vegetables like shredded carrots or bell peppers to the tuna salad for extra crunch and flavor.
For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
If you prefer a tangier taste, add a little Dijon mustard to the tuna salad.
