2.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (1 ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup water
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
Add the softened cream cheese on top of the chicken.
Pour 1/4 cup of water into the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the cream cheese mixture.
Stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
Continue to cook on low for another 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
Serve hot.
Notes
For a thinner consistency, you can add a little more water or chicken broth.
Feel free to add more cheese or bacon to your preference.
