Make this creamy fruit dip using just a few simple ingredients. It is sweet, rich, and perfect for serving with your favorite fresh fruit at any party or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  3. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. If the dip seems too thick for your liking, mix in the milk one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Transfer the fruit dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve immediately with fresh fruit, or cover and chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For the best texture, make sure your cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature before mixing.
  • This dip pairs well with strawberries, grapes, apple slices, pineapple chunks, and melon.
  • If you want a slightly tangier dip, substitute 2 tablespoons of the powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of sour cream.
