A simple recipe for moist, flavorful salmon baked with a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Arrange the trimmed asparagus on the other side.
  4. Spoon half of the garlic butter mixture evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  5. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter mixture over the asparagus spears and toss them lightly to coat.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  7. Serve the salmon immediately with the roasted asparagus.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
  • If you prefer a crispier top, switch the oven to broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • You can substitute broccoli florets or green beans for the asparagus.
