Ingredients
Scale
1 large head of broccoli, cut into uniform florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place the broccoli florets on a large baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan; use two if necessary for maximum crispiness.
Drizzle the florets with olive oil. Toss them gently to coat evenly.
Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and minced garlic over the broccoli. Toss again.
Roast for 15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the broccoli.
Return the pan to the oven and roast for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the edges are deeply browned and crispy.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For the crispiest results, make sure your broccoli florets are dry before tossing with oil.
Cut the florets into similar sizes so they cook evenly.
Do not skip the high heat; it helps develop the best texture.
