Ingredients
Scale
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the trimmed green beans on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the green beans with olive oil. Toss to coat them evenly.
Sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the beans. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
Spread the green beans into a single layer on the baking sheet.
Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the beans are tender-crisp.
Remove the sheet from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot beans and toss gently.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can toss the beans with the oil and seasonings and roast them for 10 minutes before adding the Parmesan for the final 5 minutes of cooking.
If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder along with the salt and pepper.
