1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup maple syrup or preferred sweetener
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Combine half-and-half, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan.
Heat the mixture over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until it is warm and well combined. Do not boil.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour the creamer into an airtight container or jar.
Store the creamer in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Shake well before each use.
Notes
Adjust the amount of sweetener to your taste.
For a richer creamer, use heavy cream instead of half-and-half.
You can add a pinch of black pepper or a tiny amount of ground ginger for more depth of flavor.
This creamer is also great in hot chocolate or over oatmeal.
