  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the berries.
  3. Pour the berry mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the crumble topping.
  5. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
