Make these simple, no-bake chocolate hazelnut crunch balls quickly. They require no oven and offer a rich, satisfying texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread (like Nutella)
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons shredded unsweetened coconut (optional, for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Place the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and cocoa powder in a food processor. Pulse until the oats are coarsely ground.
  2. Add the hazelnut spread and maple syrup to the food processor. Process until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a bowl. Fold in the finely chopped toasted hazelnuts by hand.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to make rolling easier.
  5. Roll the chilled mixture into small, one-inch balls.
  6. If using, roll the balls in shredded coconut to coat them.
  7. Store the finished No-Bake Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Toast the hazelnuts lightly in a dry pan before chopping for better flavor.
  • If the mixture seems too dry, add one teaspoon of water or milk at a time until it holds together.
  • For a crunchier texture, use chopped, roasted hazelnuts instead of finely chopped ones.
