Make these simple, no-bake protein balls using four main ingredients for a quick, high-protein snack perfect for meal prep or post-workout fuel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate flavor)

Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, protein powder, and sweetener in a medium bowl.
  2. If using cocoa powder, add it now.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until a thick, uniform dough forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a teaspoon of water or milk until it holds together.
  4. Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the finished balls on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • Store these protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • For a lower sugar option, use sugar-free syrup instead of honey.
  • You can substitute almond butter or sunflower seed butter for peanut butter.
