Ingredients
Scale
1 (16 ounce) bag hard pretzels
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 250°F.
In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, dry ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well mixed.
Add the entire bag of pretzels to the bowl. Gently toss the pretzels until they are completely coated with the seasoning mixture.
Spread the coated pretzels in a single layer on a large, rimmed baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure even coating and prevent burning. This helps the seasoning adhere and dry slightly.
Remove the pretzels from the oven. Let them cool completely on the baking sheet. The coating will crisp up as they cool.
Store your finished pretzels in an airtight container.
Notes
Make sure you stir often while baking so the coating does not burn.
Allow the pretzels to cool fully before storing; this sets the crunchy texture.
You can adjust the amount of garlic and onion powder to your taste preference.
