Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 lb asparagus
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the tough ends off the asparagus.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  4. Place the salmon fillets and asparagus on a baking sheet.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon and asparagus, ensuring everything is coated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

  • You can add a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chopped green onions for extra flavor and garnish.
  • Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your preference.
  • If your asparagus is very thick, you may want to add them to the pan a few minutes before the salmon.
