Make easy, refreshing Smoked Salmon Cucumber Bites. These appetizers feature cool cucumber slices topped with a creamy dill spread and a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning. They are perfect for quick entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced and cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Everything Bagel Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the cucumber into rounds, about 1/4 inch thick. Pat the slices dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Place the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star tip, or use a small spoon for dolloping.
  4. Top each cucumber slice with a small dollop or rosette of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Place a small piece of smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese.
  6. Sprinkle each bite lightly with Everything Bagel Seasoning.
  7. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best texture, pat the cucumber slices dry after slicing. This prevents the topping from sliding off.
  • You can prepare the dill cream cheese spread up to a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator.
  • Use high-quality smoked salmon for the best flavor in this simple recipe.
