Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (or more, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the shrimp and broccoli.
  7. Toss everything together to coat evenly and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  8. Serve immediately over cooked rice.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers, snap peas, or carrots.
