Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup sriracha sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Salt and black pepper to taste
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.
In a large bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, olive oil, and grated ginger.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.
Arrange the coated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and lightly browned.
Flip the wings and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven. If desired, toss the wings with a little extra sauce or brush with sauce.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
For crispier wings, you can bake them at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Adjust the amount of sriracha to your preferred level of spice.
You can also grill or air fry these wings for a different cooking method.
