Ingredients
Scale
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup mini pepperoni (optional)
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat oven according to crescent roll package directions. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch together the seams to form a rectangle.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add pepperoni if using.
Carefully roll up the dough lengthwise, like a jelly roll.
Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces.
Place the rolls cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and oregano. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra cheesy rolls, use a bit more mozzarella.
Feel free to add other favorite pizza toppings like cooked sausage or finely chopped vegetables.
