1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg, beaten
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Shape the tuna mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Carefully place the tuna patties in the hot skillet.
Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and heated through.
Notes
You can substitute panko breadcrumbs for regular breadcrumbs for a crispier texture.
Feel free to add other seasonings like garlic powder or onion powder to taste.
