Make these simple, crowd-pleasing pizza sliders using Hawaiian rolls, pepperoni, mozzarella, and a savory garlic butter topping. They are perfect for parties or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese layer.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the pepperoni.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  8. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the buttered tops.
  9. Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are golden brown.
  11. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls and serving warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella with provolone or a pizza blend cheese for different flavor profiles.
  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of dried oregano to the garlic butter mixture.
  • If you want crispier edges, bake uncovered for the entire time, watching carefully to prevent burning.
