Transform your holiday leftovers into these simple and flavorful Turkey Cranberry Sliders. These sliders perfectly blend savory turkey and tangy cranberry sauce for a delicious second-day meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Slider Buns
  • 2 cups leftover cooked Turkey, shredded or chopped
  • 1 cup leftover Cranberry Sauce
  • 4 slices Provolone or Swiss Cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons melted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected if possible.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and onion powder. Brush this mixture lightly over the cut sides of the buns.
  4. Spread the shredded turkey evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
  5. Top the turkey with the cranberry sauce, spreading it gently.
  6. Place the cheese halves over the cranberry sauce.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns back on. Brush the tops of the assembled sliders with any remaining butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  9. Slice between the buns if necessary and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add a thin layer of cream cheese for extra richness if you like.
  • If your turkey is very dry, mix it with a spoonful of gravy before assembling.
  • These sliders are excellent served warm right out of the oven.
